Thanks to modern RFID (Radio-frequency Identification) technology, the coffee machine can now continually communicate with the filter, recognizing when a filter has been inserted and automatically activating the appropriate mode. This not only makes changing the filter easier than ever before, but also allows the CLEARYL Pro Smart to achieve optimum effectiveness by continuously collecting information about filter use and alerting the user when the filter capacity has been exhausted.
The CLEARYL Pro Smart works according to the professional up-flow principle, always filtering exactly the amount of water required for each preparation, making efficient use of the filter. Standing pre-filtered water is never left in the water tank, preventing the development of unhygienic conditions. The filter effectively removes limescale, heavy metals, and substances that impair smell and taste, such as chlorine, while retaining the minerals important for health.
The use of RFID technology enables the filter and coffee machine to communicate seamlessly. Any machine fitted with the intelligent water system (I.W.S.) recognizes when a filter is inserted, automatically switching to filter mode and starting the rinsing process. When the filter capacity is nearly used up, the machine prompts the user to change the filter. If the filter is not changed, the machine activates descaling mode. After a certain amount of use, the user is prompted to descale the machine, which can only be done when the filter is removed, eliminating the risk of user error resulting from misunderstandings.
The bundle includes 3 Jura CLEARYL PRO Smart Water Filters, designed for use with the Jura WE6 and WE8 coffee machines.
