Will the 300°C model allow me to boil 1L of oil/water in a beaker? Yes, it would be able to boil 1L of water or oil. However, proper insulation must be done, as the evaporation during the heating process can dissipate a lot of heat. The maximum temperature that can be reached is 300°C. At this maximum temperature, the unit may lose some heat to the atmosphere and the table it's placed on. To improve heat efficiency, a water bath could be used with the material being heated.
